Drivers are regularly subjected to unfair rules, regulations and policies set by public and private entities that hinder their ability to provide quality services to the public and too often result in unsafe and untenable working situations for drivers.  

The App-Based Drivers Association is founded as an advocacy organization to educate the public and encourage governments to establish a more sensible, safe and fair framework of for-hire operation.  The Association will work to:

• Unite drivers across the industry;
• Clarify employment classifications for drivers;
• Ensure that their jobs are good jobs.  

The App-Based Drivers Association is a joint project of Seattle area professional and part-time drivers and Teamsters Local 117.
