Thanks to our success in passing HB 2076, The Expand Fairness Act, Uber has now published a written background check policy for Washington drivers for the first time ever.

The policy outlines the criteria for deactivation due to a background check issue. The disclosure of this policy provides transparency for drivers and gives us another tool to contest unfair deactivations. For support contesting an unjust deactivation, contact Drivers Union here.
